We arranged a very special post box ceremony. We disclosed a completely new post box situated at the main square in Brno, Square Svobody. A speech about the meaning of the event was made followed by a speech about the impact of the post box on the postal services in the neighborhood. The second speech was presented also in English, Polish, French, Finnish, Hungarian, Slovak and German so that these minorities living in Brno could also grasp the welfare the box was to bring about. Finally, the event culminated in an invaluable essay about postal service, post boxes, post offices and delivering of packages and letters in the Czech and Slovak lands over the course of history.
